Description
The Butterfly is designed for close-in, small field and light slope flying.
I bought this for myself years ago. When I assembled it the wing mount nuts pulled out of the fuselage and need re gluing. The V tails were supposed to be fitted with double sided tape but I think these need gluing.
The canopy part is not a good fit so needs a bit of adjustment to fit properly. Maybe gentle heat?
It has a C/F boom, wings and tail are made up and covered with Fluro green film on top surfaces and White underneath.. Its never been flown.
It has pushrods and linkages included.
Simple to make this a DLG.
The fuselage is epoxy fiberglass, with a carbon boom, the boom is tapered for strength and stiffness resulting in more predictable flight handling. The wing is built-up balsa and covered in quality covering. The V-tail is mounted on an epoxy glass mount that makes mounting the tail a very easy task.
The Butterfly requires 2 micro servos for the V-tail and a Transmitter capable of electronic V-tail mixing.
All up weight ready-to-fly should be between 360 and 400 grams
